Projects + Partnerships

A huge part of our goal is to partner with like-minded ministries to help advance the Kingdom of God in Haiti. Through our "Missions Serving Missions" program, we aim to meet their physical needs in order for them to minister effectively to those around them.

Read below to learn more about some of the ministries we serve.

Rev Home + Cafè

The Rev children have been through many difficulties, including a flood, an earthquake and have gone through numerous home Directors. Global Partners in Peace associate, Amber Hasson, has been working with these children since 2012 and has a sincere love for these kids. She has a great passion to provide these children with a deep understanding of God's love, a great education and life skills that they can use in their future, as well as a secure, loving, family environment. The home provides shelter, food, schooling and all the necessities these children need.

With 17 young people graduating from the Rèv Home within 5 years, Rèv Cafe was established to provide jobs, skills, and savings for college and career next steps. Quisqueya Chapel, has opened part of their grounds to this wonderful ministry.

Directed by SIF National Staff Member, FanFan Janvier

Fanfan felt a strong leading from God to build a school for his people. He’s been amazed how God has worked in ways far beyond him to bring education to so many.

Faith Academy is located outside of Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. This rural area  is significantly more populated than it was when the school first began in 2006!

Faith Academy provides education for almost 550 Students.
Students start as young as age 3 (two years of pre-k)
Grades pre-k to 9th grade are offered.  A 7th grade class was added Fall 2016; 8th grade in Fall 2017;  and 9th grade in 2018 to complete the school.

Faith Academy’s feeding program provides lunch to all students.

Teachers identified one of the biggest obstacles to learning was hunger. The kids were too fatigued or distracted by hunger to pay attention. All students are now offered a free lunch.

Recent Changes or Projects:

  • Building a library which will have Creole, French, & English literature

  • Preparing for music instruction in keyboard, guitar, and drums

  • A congregation meets in the Chapel each Sunday. The Church of God of the Mountain Assembly of God  averages more than 200 in attendance each week.

  • A BRAND NEW school is under construction! Faith Academy is adding a second building (close by the original building) to provide much needed space for the younger grades. We are blessed to report that they are bursting at the seams!

Quisqueya Chapel (QC) began in 1960 as an English speaking Sunday School for families of American Marines stationed in Haiti. Today QC is the church that English speakers from all walks of life in Port-au-Prince call home.

QC offers Sunday School for all ages, Sunday morning worship services and youth group each week as well as various retreats throughout the year. In addition to its church activities, QC’s beautiful campus is used by missions organizations and various other groups for conferences and meetings throughout the week.

Reach Out

Reach Out Youth_edited.jpg

Reach Out dreams of a Haiti where kids are not separated from their family because of their parents income. No poverty orphans, no street kids, no kids given into slave labor in hopes for education.

They dream of a Haiti where teenagers don’t have to drop out of school and end up in the streets, hustling just to get by but will instead be leaders ready to change their world!

Reach Out operates a community center focused on building up the next generation, investing in their dreams, their education, and their futures.
