Amidst all the uncertainties, we are called to spread the Lord's truth and love. Thursday evening, July 15th, SIF held a youth night for the young people that Junior works with in several different communities. We'd been planning it for several months and contemplated postponing following the assassination. However, things remain relatively calm and we decided to take advantage of this opportunity to pour into them as they walk through so many struggles. We had a time of worship, Bible study, games, food, fun, fellowship & even a little English practice for those that desired it. Thank you to Leeanne Leary and Rev Cafè for providing fries and drinks! The hotdogs over the campfire were also a huge hit! Our original desire was to give these young people a safe space to just let off steam, be loved, and be fed both physically and spiritually. We feel this was accomplished, and we look forward to doing it again soon!
