March 30th, 2021 – Building benches - One of our goals as a ministry is to see where the Lord is working and join Him. This week we were able to partner with some of the young men and women in a community where we have built homes. They wanted to start a youth group and meet at a local church, but they didn't have enough benches. After Junior offered to teach them how, they took it upon themselves to begin raising money for the materials needed. They raised over 11,000 gourdes in just a few days! We were happy to come alongside them and sponsor the remaining cost of the materials. They went to work and built them all in one evening (finishing up around midnight).
This. This is what our dreams are made of. Youth hungering for the word and for fellowship. Taking initiative and seeing it through.
